Most men don’t know how to date their wives. They did it before, but they’ve forgotten how, or they’re trying but it just doesn’t seem to be working. Justin Buzzard helps men re-learn this all-important (and often forgotten) skill from a position of security in the gospel.
All types of marriages—good ones, mediocre ones, and bad ones—will experience a jumpstart as a result of hearing, believing, and living the message of Date Your Wife.
Jesus Christ - it's a name that still has unique pulling power, even in today's secular society. Jesus is used as a comforting idea in times of trouble, an inspiration for those seeking spirituality, and even as a figurehead for counter-cultural enthusiasts. But the real Jesus is so much greater than this.
I read a bible story to my son Joshua every day, I or my wife before he goes to bed. We had a picture bible. I got to the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego being thrown into the fiery furnace. That was about a year and a half ago. Ever since then Joshua thinks about throwing people into fires. Same thing w/ David and Goliath. Coupled w/ the fact that I mistakenly introduced Star Wars to him at a very early age, I have a very violent warrior on my hands. His name has become prophetic in a way. Any suggestions from anyone out there on how to tame a 3 yr old boy? Any thoughts on weather there are inappropriate bible stories to read to young minds?
I say go ahead and read any and all biblical stories to your son, just be sure to show how ever narrative connects to Jesus and that way you can channel his “warrior-ness” in a proper way.
What a completely adorable picture ~ got it save to my growing collection, thanks!
