I became a first-time dad at 45, a blessing I never thought would happen after I hit 25 or so.....yet all the first-time realities hit me equally, just with a bit more maturity, since I&#039;d gotten a lot of the &quot;me&quot; out of my system during all those childless years.  I definitely live the highs &amp; lows of my children, and am intentional in all that I do, teach, say, and feel, and that goes for Godly wisdom as well.</description>

		<description>Dig it.  Though I would say that most would-be pre-fathers I know are indeed concerned with the loss of self-indulgences they became so accustomed to.  My favorite quote from a buddy to his wife recently &quot;But honey, I won&#039;t be able to just go to Vegas for the weekend&quot; (which he has yet to have done in the history of their marriage).
