    Forest Fire of Joy

I believe the consistent answer of Scripture is that God is most glorified in us when our knowledge and experience of him ignite a forest fire of joy that consumes all competing pleasures and he alone becomes the treasure that we prize.

This is a good word. I feel like I have been confronted with this message over and over lately. Treasuring Christ above all other things is the goal…a goal that fail to realize on a consistent basis. Thanks for this reminder.

Welcome this reminds us of being like General Sherman a redwood tree on the West Coast that has gone through fires only to remain & bring forth seeding. The fire has made these trees strong, like the Crypress Tree which stands alone but endures all of the storms on top of the mount.

They say the mustard seed is the smallest of all but when put under radio activity it is not comsumed with it’s radio active matter.

    FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
