What’s Going On At Garden City
Jesus is doing exciting work in and through Garden City Church. Here are a few pictures of what’s been going on lately.

Last week we celebrated our 1 yr anniversary as a church. Here we are in the quad after our 4pm service baptizing people.

At our anniversary we did something called “9 Changed Lives.” We had 9 people speak about how Jesus has changed their life this year. The guy with the microphone is Kaywan. Kaywan lives across the street from me. Last month he wasn’t a Christian. Now he is. You can click here to listen to what Kaywan and others told our church.

The guy with the guitar and the pink shirt is Colin Dobrin, my good friend and Garden City’s worship leader.

That’s me. I’m preaching a sentence from Jesus that sustained me through this last year: “I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

This is Feloor, Kaywan’s wife, getting ready to be baptized. She thought the water was cold.

This is Joey. He’s one of our Kids’ Ministry volunteers. Here he is with Gwen, one of many kids at Garden City.

Here Kristy is getting a hug from Jonas on her last Sunday at Garden City. Kristy just left for Irbid, Jordan where she is doing mission work.

Here’s a view of the sanctuary from yesterday with the band leading us in worship.

This Sunday we start a new sermon series on the Gospel of John: Jesus And His Mission.
In the meantime, between Sundays, Garden City people are scattered throughout Silicon Valley pursuing the mission of our church: Making disciples to impact the city for Jesus.

I have been greatly encouraged and blessed by your story and the story of Garden City. Last Sunday I planted a church with some friends and just thought you should know that you have been part of making the adventure happen and encouraging me along the way. Grace to you.
