Robert Murray M'Cheyne: What's Your Introspection-to-Jesus Ratio?

I can't remember if I've posted this great quote before from Robert Murray M'Cheyne which guards us against too much introspection and too little Jesus:"For one look at yourself, take ten looks at Christ."If I'm honest with all of you, I have to say that I do have a 1 to 10 ratio going. However, I have it backwards. For every ten looks I take at myself, I take one look at Christ. I'm a fool, thinking that lengthy periods of introspection produce change, rather than lengthy periods of reflection on my Savior. I'm excited to change my looking habits.What's your introspection-to-Jesus ratio?
