How the Apostle Paul Trained Men

"Paul...gives us an example of training other men. The New Testament record reveals that Paul took men wherever he went, and the implication becomes clear that he was training them: Silas (Acts 15:40), Timothy (Acts 16:3), Aquila and Priscilla (Acts 18:18), Erastus (Acts 19:22 and Romans 16:23), Sopater of Berea (Acts 20:4), Aristarchus and Secundus from Thessalonica (Acts 20:4), Gaius from Derbe (Acts 20:4), Tychius and Trophemus from the province of Asia (Acts 20:4) and Luke the physician. Paul was a great preacher of the gospel and teacher of the Scriptures, but he was also a great trainer of men."-Steve Martin, Dear Timothy, p. 312
