Parent/Youth Essential Reading Curriculum

I'm bookmarking this grade-by-grade parent/youth reading list to take a second look at when my children get a bit older. I think the list is a little too ambitious in places (Graeme Goldsworthy's According to Plan for 5th graders! R.C. Sproul's Chosen by God for 7th graders!), but even leading your kids through select portions of this list would be a tremendous exercise.
