Four Years of Cru!

Cru, Happy Birthday!You are four years old today.These past four years you have brought so much joy to your mom and me. We love you more than you will ever know.You've become an incredible older brother to Hudson and Gus. Hudson (didn't he just have a birthday?) looks up to you and imitates most everything you do, and soon Gus (didn't he just have a birthday too?) will also. You have a huge responsibility as the eldest son in our family. You're setting the tone for young manhood in our home.We continue to pray the same prayers and dream the same dreams for you as we did on your 1st birthday (that day was my favorite day of 2007).Cru, your daddy loves you. I'm very proud of you. I'm committed to being the best dad I can possibly be to you until the day I die. You're going to love the bike we bought you. And I'm excited to bring you with me to preach in Oakland this morning, we've got an adventure ahead of us.
