3 Rules of Blogging
People often ask me about starting a blog. They ask my advice about whether or not they should start a blog of their own. I always share three rules—three things people should have in place if they want to blog:Rule #1: Have something to sayDon't start a blog, write, preach, or talk for any length of time if you don't have something to say. Rule #2: Have an audience to say it toDon't start a blog without having an audience in mind. All communication should be directed towards a specific audience.Rule #3: Have your way of saying itDon't start a blog if you don't have a personality. Readers want to read writers who have style, who have their unique way of expressing truth.
