Weiners Can Turn Into Tonys

We have a man problem on our hands in America. Maureen Dowd commenting on the Anthony Weiner scandal in The New York Times:

This scandal resonates less as a feminist horror story than an Internet horror story. Are men, as New York magazine recently suggested, losing interest in having sex with their real partners because they’re so obsessed with porn, sexting and virtual partners? The lazy man’s way to sex, where a billion women are a click away.

Where have all the faithful men gone? Men like my good friend Tony. Tony is 80 years old. Tony loves Jesus and Tony loves his wife. He's been married to his bride for 60 years. He loves her. He delights in her. He has eyes only for her. He's a very happy man. He has been for 60 years. I want my three sons to grow up to be like Tony.We need more Tonys.We need less Weiners.We need more men to collapse at the feet of Jesus and ask him for the grace and power to live as real men in a world full of fake men. Through the grace and power of Jesus, Weiners can turn into Tonys.
