Garden City's 1 Year Anniversary

Last year I moved south to Silicon Valley with a dream: to start a new church that would engage our city with the gospel in a new way.The day I packed up the moving truck and moved my wife and 3 sons we had just 3 people committed to the dream and just $3,000 in the church bank account. I'd never felt so scared and so excited.This Sunday Garden City Church turns 1. It's been an amazing year, a year that's far surpassed my dreams, hopes, and expectations. Jesus and his grace has become so much BIGGER to me as a result of watching him build and use our church this year.I'm moved to tears when I think about the lives that have been saved and changed this year. We're going to celebrate this Sunday by worshiping God, hearing stories of changed lives, and baptizing people.Our mission as a church is eight words: Making disciples to impact the city for Jesus.
