He and his wife, Melissa, aprofessor of education at North Greenville University, began toactively pursue adoption after their second biological child, DanielJr., was diagnosed with a serious brain disorder caused by a geneticdefect. They adopted their son Isaiah ten months before Daniel Jr. diedat the age of three. The Cruvers are now a multi-racial family with a10-year-old biological daughter, Hannah, and two adoptedAfrican-American boys, Isaiah (5) and Noah (3).As MinistryOutreach Coordinator, Dan will network with pastors and churches,mission agencies, children's homes, and other organizations to informthem of Carolina Hope's full-service adoption ministry.
