Journalistic Pushback on Rob Bell's Gospel

I was relieved to see an MSNBC journalist not let Rob Bell get away with dodging questions. Martin Bashir calls it like it is and directly tells Bell, "You're amending the gospel so that it's palatable." Bashir also quotes from Kevin DeYoung's 20-page review of Bell's book, a review that I think is very important to read because it shows that a different gospel and a different God are at stake in this discussion. Like I've said before, these trajectories in Bell's teaching were present years ago.I have shed tears and felt angry blood pump through my veins over the fact that many people have followed Rob Bell's teaching thinking his teaching is biblical, orthodox, and liberating. It is none of those things. I'm thankful this journalist clearly sees what is at stake and doesn't let Bell's charm obscure the truth. Watch the video and read the review. This isn't about Rob Bell.
